It’s quite interesting because when we were younger, we saw our parents as the enemy, we thought the worst of them and we just never saw eye to eye but as we got older we started to understand each other a-bit better. There’s definitely a change in dynamics that just can’t be explained, now you just can’t do without them. They taught us the best way they knew and we have to give them credit for that🥺🙌🏾

Totally get that! It’s crazy how the dynamic with parents changes as we grow older. What once seemed like opposition, we now recognise as them just doing their best with what they knew.

And now, like you said, we almost can’t imagine doing without them. They really deserve so much credit for shaping us, even if we didn’t see it at the time! 🙌🏾

Growing up has given me a whole new perspective on my parents’ quirks! Life doesn’t come with a manual, so they did their best to wing it. I’ve got an amazing bond with my mum; we chat every single day! My dad and I, on the other hand? Well, let’s just say we’re both a bit too stubborn to see eye to eye lol

I totally feel you on that! It’s wild how your perspective shifts as you grow up and start to see things differently. Parents really do just wing it with what they know, quirks and all! That’s so great about your bond with your mum, and hey, a little stubbornness with your dad just makes those moments of agreement even more rewarding, right? 😄
