When Passion Meets Purpose

Last August was kind of a milestone month for me. It was when I first started seeing visible results from something I've been working on for a long time. Here’s the scoop: last year, I decided to start writing weekly and making reels to share my thoughts on stuff that matters to me—things like dealing with shame, living authentically, boosting productivity, and just becoming better versions of ourselves.

It all started as a passion project. I wanted a space to lay out my thoughts and connect with people who might feel the same way. I talked about the tough stuff, the things we all think about but maybe don't talk about enough.

What started as a personal outlet turned into something bigger. People began reaching out, sharing their stories, and asking for advice. Seeing the readership grow was beyond humbling. It was never about the numbers for me, but about connecting and making a little bit of a difference.

August wasn’t just another month. It was a reminder of what’s possible when you put your passion out there. It wasn't about the invites or gigs I got, but about seeing the real-life impact of sharing your journey and passions. It showed me there's so much more on the other side of just getting started.

With September rolling in, I’ve decided to not just share my thoughts but really build out loud. I want to grow this into a community where we all can share, learn, and support each other. It's about building something bigger than ourselves, together.

And just as life does, when things are looking up, it throws a curveball. A close friend of mine was diagnosed with a serious health issue. It’s tough, but it’s also a reminder of how unpredictable life can be. I'm reaching out to ask for your good thoughts and prayers for her upcoming surgery.
