Because some friendships aren’t just mirrors of who we are, but vessels of who God is. Not always easy, not always light, but deeply woven, sometimes painfully so, with purpose and covenant and mercy.
I think of the friendships I didn’t choose, but was entrusted with. And how even in the difficulty, I’ve seen more of Him.
